Questions Asked Of and

These are real questions from
real users and the answers they got back from me.
Some of the question may be edited if I don't think it relates to the
question.
"I have had a Palm V since 1999, and just yesterday the screen's
digitizer is so screwed up I cannot even recalibrate it. I tried hard
and soft resets to no avail. What would be similar to upgrade to?"
It is a better idea to upgrade than to fix
it. It will cost you more than the device is worth to fix it. What is
the natural progression? Hmmm, I think you might look at the Tungsten T5
if you want a more advanced device or the Tungsten E2 if you want one
that is near identical with some major updates.
"Do you know if there are any WIFI cards
to suit the Imate PDA2K EVDO?"
Any SDIO WiFi card with Windows Mobile
drivers should be able to work with the device. Socket, SanDisk,
and others make cards that would be compatible.
"I have looked at the option of buying a Wi-Fi SD card, but I am not
sure how much I should be prepared to spend, given the age of my iPAQ.
It looks as if I could spend as much as $200.00,, but for not much more
than that, I could get a new iPAQ with built in WiFi. What do you
suggest?"
The cards should run you about $100. It
is a good option if you are not ready to upgrade, though is of course
kind of a spendy one compared to how much you are looking to pay.
There are some devices that will be close to that amount though they
likely still won't have WiFi.
"I have been using it a lot lately. Do you have any information about
the rx3417 from HP. Any specs that i have been able to find are so
general."
It is the same product as the rx3415/rx3410
found here:
http://www.davespda.com/hardware/pda/pocketpc/device.php?174. You
may find more about that version of the device which is the US/Online
version.
