Questions Asked Of and Answered By Dave
These are real questions from real users and the answers they got back from me.
Some of the question may be edited if I don't think it relates to the question.

"Why aren't there any devices that still take AA or AAA batteries? "
The problem is you simply cannot run a powerful device off AA or AAA batteries without having a large number of them. AA's also increase the size, and AAA last for far less time. Also, I feel, the market was to small for replaceable batteries and more people wanted better rechargeable. For most devices you can buy additional batteries. In many cases you can also buy extended batteries which are more powerful. Also there are devices like the iSun for charging of the sun's light or Boxwave has a solution for recharging off AA batteries.

"I run Pocket PC version 4.20.0. Are there already updates available for this device and where can I
find this."
Though in some cases the hardware manufactures will offer new version of Windows Mobile (Pocket PC) for users to upgrade their devices.

Just as a general reference:
- Windows Mobile 2002 - OS Version : 3.0
- Windows Mobile 2003 - OS Version : 4.20
- Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition - OS Version : 4.21

So technically your device could be running the Second Edition of Windows Mobile 2003, though that may not be offered for your device.

"Can you rename a partnership? I want, for personal, selfish reasons, to rename the ActiveSync partnership. Is it possible? Or is it too much of a hassle?"
It depends on what you find simple.  You will have to delete the partnership and by doing that you will delete any sync settings you have with your device.  If you just have a basic contact/address book sync, this shouldn't be much of a problem to setup but usually I will wait to change such a thing until I have to.

"I have one easy question for you. How do you upgrade from 2002 to 2003 for my MS Windows smartphone? Also, do u recommend the upgrade. MY provider is AT&T or now its Cingular. Thanks!"

The only way to upgrade the device is if ATT/Cingular offer an upgrade.  Chances are such an upgrade is not available for your device has carriers, at least in the past, have seem hesitant to offer an upgrade.  Check the support site for your device on your carriers webpage.  They will have information if an upgrade is available.
