Hitachi has introduced a powerful device for the Sprint PCS network. The Hitachi G1000 is a standard Pocket PC with not only wireless and phone capabilities, but a camera and a thumb-keyboard as well. The Hitachi G1000 is built for the user that wants it all built into one device. The G1000 requires a user that is ok with a large device because it includes a wide range of features, of which memory is not a major concern. The G1000 may be overkill for many users, but it is one of the few devices that has the potential to be a laptop replacement for some people.
