PDA's For Translation
Sunday 03.31.02 at 11:37 PM PST

IBM has been working on incorporating the AltaVista translation engine into their devices. VoxTec is planning on shipping their Phraselator PDA soon to troops in Afghanistan. The Phraselator actually translates thousands of phrases when you say them into this ruggedized Pocket PC.

After a channel has 1,000 subscribers the sigh would be forced to pay an annual fee to keep their mobile service running.
